Collection: Black Obsidian
Formed when volcanic lava cools too quickly to crystallize, black obsidian is a natural glass with a smooth, glossy surface and sharp edges. It has long been used in protection work, believed to shield against negative energy and reflect it back to its source, and many also turn to it for grounding during periods of change. Ancient cultures shaped it into mirrors and blades for both practical and ritual use. Today it's most often carried as a palm stone or worn as a pendant.
