Collection: Jaap Mala

A Jaap Mala is a string of 108 beads used in Hindu and Buddhist practice to count mantra repetitions during japa meditation, with an extra "guru bead" marking the start and end of each round. Practitioners hold the mala in the right hand, moving one bead per chant without crossing the guru bead. Available in rudraksha, tulsi and gemstone beads, each material is traditionally linked to a different deity or intention, from grounding to prosperity.
