Collection: Malachite

Malachite's swirling bands of green come from copper deposits within the stone, giving each piece a distinctive, almost painted pattern. It's traditionally associated with transformation and protection, believed to absorb negative energy and support change during difficult transitions. Because raw malachite contains copper compounds, it's generally kept as a display or jewellery stone rather than placed in water or worn against broken skin. Polished malachite is popular in pendants and cabochons where its pattern can be shown off.
